RIGHT TO EDUCATION – A REAL CHALLENGE

Right to Education is the most universally accepted fundamental right. All children no matter what community they come from, what age they belong to, what gender they are of or what area they live in have an unequivocal right to receive education.

To spread awareness and instil activism among young generation, an IDS project was done under the guidance of teacher Ms. Anita Solanki. Students from grade VIII – X took part in it.

Through the variety of activities like “ can men and women should same profession”- a debate, SWAY presentation on women empowerment project sharing with partner countries- Morocco and Italy via Skype calls. Students learnt and improved their core skills. Also, they understood the seriousness of difference in education and gender gaps in schools. They enforced their citizenship, social and personal skills. Last but not lease they became positive towards gender sensitivity.
