 AJANTA PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENT BAGGED BEST  INTERJECTOR AWARD IN AMITY PUBLIC SCHOOL      

 

Amity Public School, Sector 43, Gurgaon, hosted an Inter School Debate Competition on 27th October 2016. This debate was organized to observe the “Vigilance Week” and the topic for the Debate Competition was “VIGILANCE CAN COMBAT CORRUPTION”. Approximately 20 prestigious schools from all over Gurgaon, with 60 participants participated in this gala event. Students from Ajanta Public School ( Onish Garg, Sakshi Saklani and Sakshi Bhambri) gave a tough competition to their competitors through their exemplary performance. It was a matter of great pride and delight for them as Sakshi Bhambri of Class X ,was able to secure the award for “The Best Interjector”.

Overall , there were six prizes in four categories for the Best Speaker (For the motion)- Meenakshi Public School, the Best Speaker (Against the motion)- Blue Bells Public School ,the Best Interjector- Ajanta Public School, the Best School- Sherwood Convent, Amity International School(Sector 43) and Amity International Sector 46.

The Principal,  Mr. Vaibhav  Kapoor praised the winning candidate for its stupendous achievement and wish her success for the future event.

    AJANTA PUBLIC SCHOOL GIRLS SPARKLED IN STATE LEVEL COMPETITION AND SELECTED FOR NATIONAL LEVEL

    Ajanta Public School provides  equal opportunities  to the girls and boys as they believe that both are vital for the development of nation. Keeping the objective alive, the girls played under 17 and  under 19 State Level Cricket tournament from 24 October to 26 October 2016 in Ambala. The team of 6 girls who played U 17 were Parkhi Saini – X,Jyoti yadav- VIII ,Muskan Yadav- IX ,Ishika Mehlawat -IX,Pragati Chaubhey  - VIII.

     

    The Women of the match was  Jyoti Yadav – VIII ,the Best Bowler  -   Parkhi Saini - X  ,the Bowler Achievement -   Pragati Chaubhey   and the Batsman Achievment  -   Jyoti Yadav              

     

    Among the team Parkhi Saini of class X and Jyoti Yadav of class VIII have been selected for national level.

    Similarly ,the team U-19 attained fourth position at state level cricket competition and the team includes Anu Shehrwat  -XI ,Sakshi Ahlawat   -xi , Ritika Mehlawat   -xi ,Megha Sharma -xi  and Garima Arora –X.

     

    The school management and the Principal  Mr. Vaibhav Kapoor applauded and motivated the students for their spectacular performance and wished them success in the forthcoming competition.
